With over twenty years of hands-on experience, Melissa delivers calm, compassionate care that meets you where you are—literally.

Melissa is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in acute, post-acute, and private home settings. She spent eight years as an Emergency Department RN caring for people of all ages and backgrounds, from minor illnesses to critical conditions. As an NP, she has managed acute, post-acute, and chronic issues in Skilled Nursing Facilities across Southeast Michigan.

Her reputation for individualized, genuine, and compassionate care precedes her. Patients consistently describe her presence as steady and reassuring—creating visits where people feel heard, supported, and able to finish without lingering concerns.

How Your Care Works

House Calls & Wellness Visits

Melissa provides in-home care for common illnesses and minor injuries, as well as preventative wellness visits. Lab draws can be completed during your visit or scheduled separately at a partner site.

Virtual Appointments

For concerns that don’t require a physical exam, virtual visits are available.

Follow-Up & Messaging

After your visit, you’ll receive clear care instructions and can use secure messaging through Spruce Health for questions during your recovery period.

HIPAA consent forms come directly to your phone for safe, paper-free signatures.

You will receive an invite to view your chart. Login is optional, but gives you access to visit notes and records.

DOT Physical	$120	Complete exam and paperwork provided at time of visit.
Pediatric Sports Physical	$50	In-home or on-site exam to clear children and teens for athletic participation.

Due to Medicaid regulations, Medicaid patients cannot be treated.
No prescribing or carrying of controlled substances at any time.

Add-ons are performed only when medically indicated. Your clinician will review any recommended procedure and its cost before treatment.

Simple/superficial laceration (≤2.5cm, scalp/neck/axillae/external trunk/extremities): $75
Extremities 2.6–7.5cm: $100
Extremities 7.6–12.5cm: $125
Extremities 12.6–20cm: $150
Extremities 20.1–30cm: $175

Simple abscess, boil, or cyst: $75

Ketorolac (Toradol) injection
Ceftriaxone (Rocephin) injection
Solumedrol injection
Dexamethasone (pediatrics)

IV hydration (when indicated)
Nebulizer respiratory treatment
