Melissa is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in both facility and community-based settings.
Melissa has over twenty years of experience in providing direct patient care. She spent eight years as an Emergency Department RN caring for people of all ages and backgrounds, from minor illnesses to critical conditions. As an NP, she has managed acute, post-acute, and chronic illnesses in Skilled Nursing Facilities throughout Southeast Michigan.
Her reputation for providing individualized, genuine, and compassionate care precedes her. She is engaged during her visits with a calmness that permeates throughout, allowing patients to feel truly heard and supported, ending their visits without lingering concerns.
It is an honor to be trusted to care for those in their most vulnerable moments. I am looking forward to connecting with and being of service to the community. I am so excited to bring my experience and values into fulfilling the vision of Lionheart Holistic Care.
As a mother of young children and a seasoned clinician, Melissa understands the challenges of receiving care during traditional office hours—and how frustrating long waits and surprise bills can be. Insurance constraints often get in the way of what matters most: thorough, person-centered care.
Lionheart Holistic Care offers high-quality, convenient care with affordability in mind, wherever you need it. No rushed appointments. No confusing bills. Just attentive, evidence-based, compassionate care.
Each step is designed to be simple, personal, and transparent.
A brief phone or video session to review your health history and current concerns. Ensures we have the full picture before treatment or an in-person visit.
Care with extra warmth and thoughtful detail, making the visit feel more personal and comforting than a typical office appointment.
A complete physical exam with screening labs and a review of results—focused on prevention, early detection, and long‑term peace of mind.
House calls are available across Southeast Michigan, generally bounded by Waterford to the north, Brighton to the west, Romulus to the south, and Eastpointe to the east. If you're near these edges, reach out—we can often accommodate.
Extended travel beyond a 30‑minute radius is often possible (up to ~60 minutes) with a $25 surcharge. We’ll confirm any travel fee before booking.
Price Transparency: Every visit includes clear, upfront costs. If your care requires a different level of service, you will know before you are charged.
